Ports

Where we load

Four ports cover most exporters in Guangdong. Qinzhou is added when cargo moves through the Beibu Gulf.

Shenzhen

Yantian

Deep-water berths on the east side of Shenzhen, used for long-haul services to Europe, the Mediterranean and the US. We book FCL and hand over loading, export declaration and trucking to the terminal.

Shenzhen

Shekou

Western Shenzhen port with frequent sailings to Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Used for cargo that is consolidated in Bao'an and Nanshan factories.

Guangzhou

Nansha

Guangzhou's main container port, with direct sailings to Europe, the Mediterranean, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Rail and truck connections reach the inland provinces.

Guangzhou

Huangpu

Up-river Guangzhou terminal convenient for factories in eastern Guangzhou, Dongguan and Foshan; barge and truck feeding to Nansha and Shenzhen.

Beibu Gulf

Qinzhou

Southwest gateway used with the rail–sea corridor. Routing through Qinzhou, including the Pinglu Canal, is quoted case by case after checking barge and rail availability.

Beibu Gulf · Western Land-Sea Corridor

A second exit from China, through the southwest

The Beibu Gulf corridor gives exporters in southwest China a route to the sea that does not cross the Pearl River Delta. Two things are usually confused, so we keep them apart:

  • Qinzhou rail–sea (Western Land-Sea Corridor) — rail from the inland provinces to Qinzhou, then ocean. This is in regular commercial use and is what we quote for inland cargo.
  • The Pinglu Canal — opened to navigation in September 2026 and in trial operation. Barge and lock capacity is still being proven, so routing through the canal is confirmed case by case.

For cargo that moves this way we check rail space, barge availability and lock scheduling before confirming a plan, and we say which legs are handled by us and which by a partner.

Inland barge service via the Pinglu Canal is under trial operation, subject to barge availability and lock scheduling, and confirmed case by case.

How a shipment runs with us

Inquiry

You send the origin, destination, cargo and readiness date. If a document is missing, we ask for it once, in the same reply.

Quotation

A written quotation within one business day: ocean freight, origin charges, exclusions, and the validity period.

Booking & documents

Space is confirmed, the export declaration is filed, and the packing list and bill of lading instructions are checked before submission.

Loading & sailing

Container is loaded, sealed and railed or trucked to the terminal. You get the container number, the sailing and the estimated arrival.

Why customers keep the next shipment with us

Answer inside one business day

Quotations are prepared by the person who will handle the file — not by a queue. Requests that arrive before 15:00 GMT+8 are usually answered the same day.

Documents checked before filing

The export declaration, packing list and bill of lading instructions are checked against the commercial invoice before submission, because a wrong HS code or weight costs more to fix than to prevent.

One file, one contact

Booking, documents, trucking and terminal issues stay with the same person, so nothing is lost between departments.

Plain answers about what we cannot do

If a routing, a cargo type or a deadline is outside what we can execute, we say so in the first reply instead of taking the booking and finding out later.

Questions we are asked before the first booking

How fast will I get a quotation?

Uni-Link replies to quote requests within one business day. If the routing needs a rate we do not hold, we say so and give you the date the answer will come.

Is there a minimum shipment size?

There is no minimum quantity. A single pallet can move as LCL, and a single carton can be consolidated. Quantity affects the unit price, not whether we accept the booking.

Can you work from a port other than Yantian, Shekou, Nansha and Huangpu?

Yes, on request. Those four ports are where we operate routinely; other Chinese ports, including Qinzhou in the Beibu Gulf, are arranged case by case after we check the local customs, trucking and feeder options.

Which charges are included in your quotation?

Our quotation lists ocean freight and origin charges separately, and states clearly what is excluded — normally destination terminal handling, destination customs clearance, delivery and demurrage. Excluded items are named in writing so there is no surprise invoice later.

How do you handle cargo when something goes wrong at the terminal?

You get one contact who owns the file. When a container is rolled, held by customs or short-shipped, we tell you the same day with the options and the cost of each, rather than waiting for the next scheduled update.

Do you arrange door-to-door delivery or DDP?

Port-to-port shipment with customs clearance and trucking in China is what we run ourselves. Where destination delivery is needed, we say in writing which part is handled by us and which by a partner agent, and price the two parts separately.

Tell us about the shipment

Give us the origin, the destination and the cargo — we reply within one business day.

Reply within one business day, direct to a person — not an auto-reply.

We use your details only to prepare this quotation and to answer you. We do not share them with third parties other than the carriers and service providers needed to price or move the shipment.

Send the shipment details

Origin, destination, cargo and ready date are enough to start. No account, no minimum quantity.
